Today would have been my parents' 64th wedding anniversary. Two very different people in personality and outlook, but made for each other. I'm sure the Big Band music is blaring, with smokes and whiskey stone sours for everyone. Miss those two.

My greatest love would be my hubby. We have been together 31 years, married 24 years on May 27th. I was 17 when I met him...ON A BLIND DATE! I was so not looking for a boyfriend at the time. I had just gotten out of a 2 1/2 yr relationship. Hubby was leaving for college in 3 months as I was just deciding mine. I ended up going to a different college and we still managed to stay together through 5 years of school. Now I cannot imagine being with anyone else. I have a wonderful, filled life with 3 great daughters.

Happy 25th Anniversary to you and Hubcap! Our is next year and we are planning on renewing our vows too! Enjoy your day! <3

Happy anniversary. I am happily married to my greatest love. It will be 20 years this August. He had never been married but was willing to take on me 2 kids and 2 cats. We met in tech school and were the 2 oldest in the class (non-traditional students) and were paired as lab partners. He has held my heart and never let me down.

Love the photo!! My husband is my best friend! We've been together 18 years, married 15 this October. We met at a very difficult time in my life when my Dad was diagnosed and dying from brain cancer. We were youngish and it was a hard thing to deal with especially in a new relationship, but we did...have been through some other bad stuff (not between us, but family stuff) and find strength, love and support from each other. :) Happy, happy anniversary to you and your husband!

Congratulation! Hope you have many many more wonderful years together!
I with my greatest love now, it will be 9 yrs coming this July. He's a wonderful, caring, loving man. Only wish I would have met him 40 yrs ago. The only thing I got out of my first marriage was two beautiful sons. Now I have Grandkids just like them. Back to the man I have now. I only knew him for 5 mos when I got really ill and almost died. He stuck with me by my side thru the whole ordeal. I was in a nursing home for 4 mos. and he took me out of there back to Indiana where he lived, got me into doctors and therapy. I was bedridden for 2 yrs and he did everything for me. Now I'm disabled, can walk again with a cane but if it wasn't for him I wouldn't be alive and here living the rest of our lives together. I love this man. Donna Harris

Congratulations and happy Anniversary!

My special love and I have recently come to realize, as cliche as it may seem, that being together, having one another, is what helps us get through all the craziness life seems to throw our way. While we're pretty sure we could probably manage if we weren't together, knowing that isn't the case and having the other in our corner has made several untenable situations a heck of a lot easier to get through.

Thats so wonderful! Congratulations!! I am not married yet, but I soon hope to be. I met my bf through a friend on skype. Yes, SKYPE! We dated long distance for about 3 years. This is our fourth and recently we finally saw each other! He actually moved up here for me. So, hopefully in the near future I'll be able to hear the wedding bells! :)

My greatest love is my sweet husband! We just celebrated our 33rd anniversary on the 13th.

The past two years have been trying, he was diagnosed with cancer in January 2012 after a December 2011 surgery. 2012 was spent fighting hard & praying harder. He's cancer free at this point, last fall, we made a big move (6 hours from where we'd both lived most of our lives,)to live near our only daughter & grandchildren.

Here we are, having just celebrated another anniversary & going strong.
We're here now because of all we've *survived* and I love my hubby more than ever!

Congratulations and Happy Anniversary to you both! What a great milestone. My greatest love was my dad who passed away in 2009. My greatest romantic love has been the sunshine on my darkest days. He's my best friend and is always there for me. When I lost everything I owned in 2010 due to black mold in my home. (We had to completely destroy the home) He took me shopping for new clothes, even though he didn't have much, because I even lost the clothes on my back. He's a wonderful man and I love him dearly. A true gift from God. Thank you for letting me share!

My greatest was my best friends older brother, (out of respect for his family I won't give his name) He was Navy and stationed on an air craft carrier and he came to visit her while on leave, I took one look at this bearded man in the cafeteria line who smiled at me and I knew I'd love him for the rest of my life. I had never believed in love at first sight, but I was wrong!

While we were only together for 5 years it was wonderful, Life takes turns and things change but I'll never forget the time we did have together, the laughter, the fun, the arguments and the making up. He was my best friend in the end, and I still miss him.

My greatest Love and I met in Germany 24 years ago in the Military. He Is from PA and I am from TN. We were not suppose to fraternize but the moment We looked into each other's eyes, sparks have flown.
We ended up getting married a year later against the Army, against two wars in the Middle East, and against all other odds stacked up against Us.
D is my greatest love and in August We will be married for 23 years. We have one Son and He is a Miracle. And to this day, when We travel, people always ask if We are newlyweds? We just laugh, and tell them how long we have been married and they are speechless.
I can't imagine life without him, or if We hadn't met. Ours is a true love story.

I have two great loves, my children. Seth and Saige, they are in their teens now and tend to want to test that love, but we always come out on the other side hugging and with "I Love You's"
Their dad left when Saige was just a few weeks old and gave up parental rights, I think that makes our bond a little more special than the average mom and kids, but I can't compare, since I only have mine to go off of. I just know I hear mom's talking about how that can't wait for it to be dad's weekend, or can't wait for the hubby to take the kids for the day. I've never had that, we've done everything together; except now as their older they do a lot with friends and sometimes I find myself lost.

I never believed in love at first sight or any other way. I was just getting out of an abusive marriage and did not want to be with anyone. This man walked into the coffee shop where I worked. I told my boss "I'm going to marry that man". Everyone laughed at me. Two years later we married on April 9 1968. We were still married and still in love when he passed away from cancer in 1990. He is still the love of my life after all these years.
Congrats to you and Hubcap on 25 years. I admire those who work at making this milestone.

My best and strongest love is a guy I knew in high school. About 3 years ago, he contacted me on facebook and said "Do You Remember Me?" Of course I did. Although separated by 3000 miles, we managed to come together and I swear, he treats me like a princess. I love this man more than anything. Congratulations on your 25 years!

I meet my wonderful husband almost 8 years ago. May 31 we will celebrate our 5 year anniversary and I love him more today than I did then if that is possible. We have been through a lot together. We started our own business and we were doing well. A front tire blew on the dump truck he was driving and changed our lives completely. He has not been able to work since. A lot of complications but we will get through them. For better or worse. I count my blessing every day that I still have him. Never forget to tell those you love that you love them, you may not get another chance.

Dear Lucy: First of all our best wishes for your 25th anniversary and your happiness. The love of my life and I have known one another for over 54 years. We will be celebrating our 50th (yes, #50) the end of November (2013) with our two children and our three beautiful grandchildren. We are as happy now as we were when we met and got married; it has been a marriage made in heaven and we cannot believe that 50 plus years have gone by since we met. We would love another 50 but we know that isn't going to happen, so we are just grateful for what we have had and wish many more people could have the same or even close to it. Sometimes it is what you yourself make of things that makes it work and in our case that was combined with lots of love and understanding and a lot of listening to one another but above all, love.

The only time that we really KNOW that we have been married almost 50 years is when we look into the mirror; a big big giveaway as to our age. :)!!!!

Congratulations on your 25 years. My husband and I will celebrate our 29th in June and I've come to one truth. Love is not the flowers and gifts or the three little words. It's the actions that come day in and day out that say I love you without having to say the words. It's him doing the laundry or cooking suppers b/c he knows you've had a monster of a day. He gets up during the night to feed/diaper/or easy a fussy baby. It's him brushing your hair or tying your shoes b/c you've been in a accident. It's the day in and day out actions that say I love you over and over, year end and year out. That is what I know after 29 years.

Married my best friend May 7th 2011 after going through two really bad previous marriages. What makes him so special is that he is truly the first man who loves me unconditionally, puts me first in everything, and puts me second only to God. We have so many things in common that we sometimes joke about having been separated at birth or that I am him in female form and he is me in male form lol!
