Without googling it, I'm guessing lucky 7. I seem to recall that there are only a few farms that supply the whole country, but I could be wrong. Wouldn't be the first time, and definitely not the last. :-) Thanks Andre, this is fun.

I think Christmas trees are grown in all fifty states, but some states produce far more than others. :)

Well, that settles it. I will never look at fruitcake the same.

For today's question I am going to say only 45 states grow Christmas trees

All 50 states grow Christmas trees. I find that amazing.

I will guess that every single US state grows Christmas trees!

I have a good question. What state sells the most live Christmas trees? Not everyone will buy a live tree since the economy is so bad. I am one of the people who puts up a fake tree every year since I am a tree hugger. I don't like to see trees cut down.

I remember as a little girl going to cut down a Christmas tree in one of our national forests. The tree had a special ribbon indicating it was for that purpose. That being said, if they're grown in all 50 states, then it begs the question, Why, when I go shopping for a tree in Arizona, are all the trees from Washington or Oregon? Just curious.
