Guest Blogger - Chantal

Hi Lucy, thank you so much for asking me to help you share this website by doing a guest blog. I'm tickled pink :)

Have you heard of Freerice.com yet? It's a website that started in October of 2007.

The concept is simple. Just click on the multiple choice answer that best defines the given word.

For every correct answer 20 grains of rice will be donated to the United Nations world food programme. It's a wonderfully educational way to help those in need and learn a thing or two at the same time.

Right now my best vocab level is 35. I have stayed up way past my bed time trying to beat it, lol.

Give it a try and let us know your score. Be warned: Free rice is very addictive :)

What a great site. My best score was 35 also. I have never heard of some of the words. I am surprise I knew the meaning of some of them. Being a heavy reader came in handy on some of the words. And, your right, it is very additive

Wow, what a totally addicting site. I never got above 35 - but I will be back trying to better that score.

This site is so great- haha, and I' scared I'm going to spend too much time on it. My best level was 39 - it was such a temptation to look up the words, but I held strong.

I've been playing that sight for a couple of months now. I made it to level 40, ONCE. Most times I keep a 39 level. It's so hard! But fun! *G* And all for a good cause!

I tried this site a couple of months ago. I got up to 45. I think it is because I read so much---also do crossword puzzles.

It's a lot of fun. My best was 42. I'm going to try it again later.

I've heard of this site, but haven't played. Sounds like a cool thing to do while you're having fun at the same time. Thanx for the reminder Chantal.

I had not played this yet, but it sounds like something I could get addicted to very easily. Thanks for sharing.

I was playing and got the word Tumescent and had instant visions of the movie 10 Things I Hate About You.
My highest so far is 42.

I finally got my 35 up to a 41. It is very addictive

I was able to get to 43 but 40 seems to be my most common score - and yes it's extremely addictive lol but at least you not only learn something, you're helping others too. Fantastic site.

I went to that site once a while back. I swore I would never go there again because I couldn't seem to stop! LOL

BTW, hey Lucy, it's time to embarass Chantal! It's been awhile, so just to remind you who I am, I'm Bev that exchanged raising teenagers horror stories with you and "Mr. Lucy" at Lora Leigh's RAW.

Anyway, I had mentioned that I love your Highland werewolves but I had a friend who was a complete fangirl of yours and had read all your other books-- that was Chantal. And now you've invited the crazed stalker fangirl into your "home". BWHAHAHAHA... be afraid... be very afraid.

;-p

OMG, Bev, Shut up! That did embarrass me, loL!!

I am so not the only person to have read all of Lucy's books. If her lawyer sends me a restraining order then I am going to kick you, Bev.

LOL
