Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Thanksgiving is so much more than a day to eat turkey and other fabulous home cooked foods for me. It is truly a day that I and my family take time to thank God for our blessings. So, I thought we could do that a little here.

I'd like to know 5 things you are thankful for. Not necessarily, your biggest blessings or the stuff that is most important to you, but five things that right this minute are making you happy. I'll start. :)

1. My sister's latest cancer diagnosis came back uber positive. It looks like they *were* able to get all the cancerous tissue after all and are not recommending further treatment, but a new MRI a year from now to make sure nothing further has developed. (She's still got one last surgery on her spine to look forward to, but things are so looking up for her!)

2. Pregnancy of Passion is #1 on the Borders Group Bestseller's List (includes all Waldenbooks & Borders) and I'm so grateful for that.

3. My kids are all healthy and pretty happy at the moment.

4. My husband just got a new job within his company, helping Intel stay environmentally friendly and up to worldwide environmental codes. Cool, huh?

5. I wrote 2000 words this morning and hope to write more later.

Okay, now, it's your turn! :)

I'm thankful for:
1. My Dh had the day off today and shampooed my carpets!
2. My kids. They make me laugh, they make my cry and most of all they fill my life with love.
3. That I made it by the library yesterday and have books to read over the next few days.
4. My cats. Thay are hilarious to watch and make me laugh everyday. (we now have 7 kitties)
5. I have a home full of the people and fur-babies that I love.
And 6. That Lucy Monroe is such a sweet and talented author!!)

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

1. My beautiful daughter who has the best personality and says the funiest things.
2. My hubby who will do anything for me, which includes helping me put a relaxer on my hair last night. My calloused handed hubby put on gloves, added goop to my hair and then washed and conditioned it in the sink for me.
3. That I have more time to finally do what I love, write!
4. For all the wonderful, positive friends I have made in the romance community within the last year.
5. That its finally starting to cool down in Southern Cali. Its actually starting to feel like the holiday season!!

I hope you and your family have a blessed holiday, Lucy. I'm so happy about your sister.

First of all Lucy Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours and I know this particular holiday has a special meaning to your family. The Shoemaker's will be thinking of you all!

I'm thankful that I had 30 years of marriage to Ron and our children Chris and Keri, such blessings to us were a result of the union.

I'm thanksful for my parents, my family and my friends.

I thankful for the HP authors who give me such reading pleasure, but I'm thankful for you Lucy and the friendship and support you've given me.

I'm thankful that I live in a free country with men and women who daily defend us.

But most important and at the top of my list, I'm thankful to God, who has seen me through a difficult year since Ron has passed. Without Him, family and friends and the author community, I don't know how we would have survived.

So to all, enjoy this special holiday season with your family and friends and say an extra special prayer for those less fortunate, those alone, those in need. HAPPY TURKEY DAY!

Happy Thanksgiving Lucy! I am sure that your exchange students will enjoy this special holiday with you and your family.

I'm thankful for:
1) having my dad around for this Thanksgiving. His cancer has come back. Unfortunately chemo does not help. Last time they operated, this time they think that he is too old at 86 for that. We have no idea how much longer he will be with us.
2) my dd. She is very special to us.
3) my dh. He's been through rough times and I am glad that things have finally settled down for him. He's on permanent disability due to lyme disease. They say he's had it for 20-30 years and has irreversible damage from it.
4) a job that I love.
5) all of the HP authors writing such wonderful books for me to read. I really cherish my reading time.

I'm thankful for:
1. A 4-day weekend! YAY!
2. A wonderful husband who loves me just as I am, who makes me laugh every single day, and who never (and I mean never) goes to sleep without first saying "I love you".
3. 2 wonderful children (I can say that because they are not fighting at this exact moment), who are bright, talented, funny, and above all, healthy.
4. The wonder of e-books (I forgot to go to the bookstore and pick up reading material for the long weekend)
5. A good job that I enjoy (that I don't have to return to for 4 whole days!!!)

I'm thankful for:

1. My family, who loves me and puts up with me.

2. My friends, who inspire me everyday, who "get" me, and who understand why sometimes I really do just need to be alone.

3. My health, and ability to have the ability and independence to do so much

4. My country, and all the heroes who live in it: troops, teachers, people who really care

5. The wonderful stories that writers like you give us. They inspire, encourage, make one feel optimistic, and open up the imagination.

6. Having a job I enjoy and don't mind getting up 5 days a week to go to it. Makes all the difference in the world.

There is just so much to be thankful for - these are only a few things.

Great news about your sister!

It's so funny how you guys have Thanksgiving this month. Ours is in October.

I read Pregnancy of Passion. It was great! Salvatore is so dreamy. I love a man who goes after the woman he wants. I want a Salvatore of my very own.
