I love this book! I picked it up when I was browsing at Borders last week and I got hooked. I actually ended up staying at Borders until I finished the book. It's a good thing I'm a fast reader:)

I'm not all that surprised that I got hooked though. I love Kate Walker's books!

That sounds such a great book, Kate (aren't you just loving this fabulous weather in Wales -- so rare!).

And Michelle -- any excuse to spent an afternoon in Borders! -- every time I see your photograph I think it's a local beauty spot just down on the Gower near us. My husband took a picture that is exactly like that on another rare hot day, except there's a tiny white cottage just above the beach that cries out for a book. One with a tortured hero :) I had to check your profile to see where you were from. California and Wales are that alike. Who knew?

It IS a great book, the sexual tension is great.Plus its set in the sunshine, which I always find a plus!!Can I also mention another of her books? THE ITALIAN'S FORCED BRIDE.Now that one actually had me crying. If you like Kate Walker, then you must get your hands on that one too.

If I could just stay away from blogs like this I wouldn't have so many books to read.

Minds are like books - they only work when they are open.

This sounds like interesting book. I love trying new authors while not writing (Unpublished at the moment). I love Harlequin Presents books. And when I usually read a new author, 99.9% I will be forever hooked.

Hi everyone!

I managed to escape from my classes here in Wales to come and visit Lucy's party - and I find she's already posted about my August book.

Thank you Lucy!
And a special Hello to my friend Liz (waves to Liz across the sunny Welsh countryside)

And Thank you to everyone who has posted such lovely comments on my book - I notice lots of names I recognise and lots of new friends too.

I hope those of you who do read The Antonakos Marriage will enjoy it - I know a lot of people liked it here in the UK because it sold out - and I just noticed that it's already sold out on eHarlequin too! What a thrill

I had such a special day yesterday so I thought you might like to be some of the first to share with me. I just heard from my editor that she loves the latest book I sent to her - and this is a really special book - it's my 50th title for Harlequin!! I've been going around smiling all the time and people are asking me why I look so happy.

SO I thought I'd share the happiness -when I'm happy I like to make someone else happy too - so I'm adding an extra prize to my list for this party. Someone here mentioned The Married Mistress and I have some spare copies of that - so I'm offering a signed copy of TMM to go into Lucy's next draw for goodies. Good luck!

And Lucy please let me know the winner's name and I'll send on the book.

Oh well, better go and see what the students are doing

Thank you again to everyone for your lovely comments

Hugs

Kate

PS bluecitybabe mentioned The Italian's Forced Bride (Thank you so much b-c-b! I'm collecting up all the people this boko makes cry!!) My editor just said that she thinks this is coming out in America in February 2007 - so you won;t have long to wait!
I'll try to drop by again if I can get computer time

Lucy and for Kate when she returns, I loved this book.

Skye’s and Theo’s journey is a rough one; so intense, emotional and passionate you won’t be able to put this book down. Kate Walker has such an incredible way of bringing her characters to life and giving her readers hours of reading pleasure.

Forgot to mention...Liz, I think Wales is much like Western Washington State. Often cold...even in summer. But this year, everyone is getting hit with the heat. Now that we live in Oregon, I'm a bit more prepared for it, but am truly grateful for central AC. :)

Carol said...

The Antonakos Marriage sounds like another great story! :)

Kate Walker said...

Okay - I shouldn't be here! I'm supposed to be at a lecture but I skipped!

The honest reason is that the computer room is the coolest room here - it's for the good of the computers, not the humans ! ; -(

Once again thank you thank you to everyone for your lovely comments on The Antonakos Marriage - I just hope you enjoy it as much as you think if you buy it.

I also wanted to say that as so many of you are interested in Wales - I've posted some pics on my blog so if you visit there you can see the place I'm staying and read about some of the people I've met during this week.

Once again, special {{{{{{HUGS}}}}}} to Lucy for running this wonderful party - I'll keep trying to drop in and I'll be posting in the blog sometime - when I get home. I know Lucy will remind me when

Love

Kate
