An update and a great read...

I'm inches away from being done with Ethan's story.  It's been really hard to make the time to write with Mom still in the hospital.  But the pacemaker will go in tomorrow morning and we're all hoping her liver specialist is wrong about how she heals from it.  They've underestimated her so many times before and we all pray this will be another one of them.

But I wanted to chat up a book that I read recently and LOVED.  Megan's Mark by Lora Leigh is totally yummy.  It's one of her best Breed books yet and you all know I am now a huge fan of this series.  Lora is a smart writer and uber talented.  The book is filled with emotion, sensuality and a page-turning plot.  She's also got an Ash  type character (for SK fans out there) in Jonas Wyatt which will intrigue and torment Lora's readers as beautifully as SK has ever done with Ash.  I'm already dying for the man's book and I bet it's going to be a couple of years before we see it.

If you like erotic paranormal, you REALLY need to read this book!

And some neat news I wanted to share, but AND ABLE is currently #1 on Barnes & Noble's Tradesize Romances nationwide bestseller's list.

Hugs,
Lucy

Lucy: your mom, you, and the rest of your family will be in my thoughts and prayers over the next several days. Let her know we're thinking about her and praying for her quick recovery.

Honestly, I've never read a Breed book, but I have read other LL stories. That woman has quite the imagination *g* I swear I get an education everytime I read one of her Bound Hearts books LOL. They are something.

Ethan...sigh. Another hero after my own heart.

Woo hoo on the B&N news, but totally not unexpected by your friends here. We luvs ya....

And while I'm thinking about it, I thought I'd mention that "The Prince's Virgin Wife" was quite wonderful. Once again you painted over the predictable HP plotlines by tackling the usual obstacles and giving us a richer, more believable storyline with issues that made more sense about what Maggie and Tomasso were going through. Oh, and I loved the dedication to our LadyB, a true original with her own outlook and love of life. That was the coolest!

Oh, Lucy, I'm sorry to hear about your mom having to go through with the surgery. You all will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I haven't read Lora's Breed series, but so may people give the books rave reviews, so I may have to check them out!

Congrats on your And Able news and for getting close to finishing Ethan's story.

Lucy, I will keep your family in my prayers. I know how hard it is and I'll be thinking of you.

As for the book, I'm not too into paranormal so I've never read any of the series.

My thoughts and prayers go out to your mom, you, and your family.

I just finished reading and Able and I LOVED IT!! (I just sent an email to you to gush about it.) It deserves to be #1 everywhere.

I never read Lora Leigh but I have plans ... I love a good find especially since SEP is not putting a book out this year :-(.

Lucy you ROCK!!!
