Catching Up :)

First, I just want to thank everyone for being so supportive and all your prayers for my mom. :)  I read all your comments and they really blessed me over the past hectic days.  She's had some complications since the insertion of the pacemaker, but she's fighting like the trooper she is and I know that eventually it will be okay. :)

Second, during the five hours I sat beside her bed the day she had the pacemaker put in, I wrote the final scenes on Ethan's book and plotted the first scene of my next one!!!  Ethan's book needs a final edit, but I feel so good.

Third, thanks to my darling hubby, I've entered the world of eReaders and it's grand, but I'll blog more about that later this week.

Fourth, I had a wonderful Mother's Day and Anniversary (lots of pressies - very nice) and hope all the other moms out there had a lovely day too.

Hugs,
Lucy

Lucy I am so glad that your mom is doing well. Sounds like she is a strong woman! Congrats on getting Ethans book finished. How exciting. I had a good Mothers day too! I got pampered. My husband let me sleep in while he took care of the baby, made me breakfast, and I took off to Barnes and Noble to read for a few hours. What a great day.

Thanks for the update on your mom, Lucy! I have been thinking about her and your family a lot over the last while. Glad to hear you had a great Mother's Day. I second Kelley's congrats on finishing Ethan's book.

My thoughts and prayers will be with your mother and your family!

Lucy, ((HUGS)) to you and your Mom, hope she continues to gain strength and health.

MY SIL is fighting for her life right now. She has this rare condition that only 14 people have world wide. She is number 15. MD's have no name for it.
Its been going on since last Tuesday.
Prayer is the strongest gift we can give your Mom and my SIL.

BTW - on an up note,- ebooks- I downloaded your bundle pack from Fictionwise - the Royals...Once again you are able to grab emotions and make us care . The third one was really tormented. How sad to think she was SO unsure of her place that she couldn't confide in the one person a woman should turn to. Made the HEA very poignant, special and sweet.

I recommend all your readers get the trilogy. You can't stop at just one.
Thanks for another wonderful reading experience!

Vivi...thanks, sweetie! I can feel everyone's concern and it really helps.

Smooches and hugs to you all,

Oh what a relief Lucy. I've been thinking about you all - you're usually not so quiet. I'm glad she's okay, for the most part. That's great news.

WTG on taking care of Ethan ;) I can't wait to read his HEA. And I'm happy you had such a great Mother's Day. You deserve it - for having that maternal thing that draws people to you. You have such a big heart Lucy :)

Michele, I am keeping your s-i-l in my prayers. I'm sure she's getting the best possible care and please keep in mind that we are praying for her thinking about her. It's a powerful thing when people come together to help someone. It's amazing. Hugs to you guys.

Lucy and Stacy~
Thank you! She took a turn for the worse last night; respirator had to be put back in, BP went thru roof. Tonight,so far, the word is she is much better, but this roller coaster emotional ride isn't over yet. They claim that when she recovers as they hope, she'll still be hospitalized for a month.
So yes, prayers are greatly appreciated. They give us a well of hope to draw from.
That, I believe, is priceless.
Warmest regards,
Michele

Michele {{{Hugs}}) regarding your SIL.

Lucy, I am very happy to hear that your mom is doing better.

I finished reading "and Able" and really enjoyed it! I got a huge chuckle out of the line: "he could have drilled for oil in a rock canyon...." I don't want to post spoilers here for those who haven't read it yet.

Sending {{HUGS}} to anyone who wants/needs one.

Lidia...I am SO happy you liked AND ABLE! LOL on the line that gave you a chuckle. I love those kinds of lines and especially when readers *get* them. ;-)
